The Idem 205005 KL3-SS guard locking switch (std release) includes a 110V power supply, 1/2NPT connection, and is made of stainless steel. Idem guard locking switches offer robust position interlock detection for moving guards, featuring a lock mechanism that keeps the guard closed until the hazard is removed. Tongue operated and designed to fit on sliding or hinged machine guards, they provide positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. They can be used independently for positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or in combination with dual-channel safety monitoring relays for up to PLE category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061 compliance.
