The Idem 203008A KM tongue interlock switch-STD ACT features 3NC 1NO, 1/2NPT, die cast construction. Idem KM interlock switches are ideal for detecting position interlock on medium to heavy duty moving guards, with robust die-cast housings suitable for sliding, hinged, or lift off machine guards. These switches offer forced disconnect of safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal, along with an anti-tamper mechanism. Rotatable heads with dual actuator entry positions provide up to 8 different entry points, with options for flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions. Replaceable contact blocks include optional explosion-proof versions, while high holding force models are available for vibration-prone applications. Meeting EN60947-5-1 standards for positive break contacts and high functional safety to ISO13849-1, these switches are compatible with most safety relays up to PLE CAT.4.
