The Idem 203008PF KM tongue interlock switch-PF Act features 3NC 1NO contacts and a 1/2NPT entry, housed in a robust die-cast design. These interlock switches are specifically engineered for position interlock detection, suitable for medium to heavy-duty moving guards. They are designed for attachment to the leading edge of sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards, ensuring a forced disconnect of the safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal. Additionally, the product includes an anti-tamper mechanism and rotatable heads with dual actuator entry positions, allowing for up to 8 different entry configurations. For enhanced durability, options such as flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions are available. The contact blocks are replaceable and can be obtained in optional explosion-proof versions, while high holding force variants cater to applications sensitive to vibration. The device complies with EN60947-5-1 for positive break contacts and offers high functional safety to ISO13849-1.
