The Idem 203008 km tongue interlock switch features a 3NC 1NO configuration with a 1/2NPT connection and a die-cast housing. These interlock switches are designed for medium to heavy duty moving guards and can be easily fitted to sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards. They provide a forced disconnect of safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal and incorporate an anti-tamper mechanism. The rotatable heads offer dual actuator entry positions for up to 8 different configurations. Optional flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions are available for added durability. Contact blocks are replaceable with explosion-proof options, and high holding force versions are suitable for vibration-prone applications. These switches also feature positive break contacts for high functional safety, conforming to EN60947-5-1 standards and ISO13849-1 requirements. They can connect to most safety relays for up to PLe Cat.4 safety levels. The switch dimensions are 118mm long, 40mm wide, and 30mm fixing, making them an industry-standard fitting for a variety of applications.
