Idem KP interlock switches are engineered for position interlock detection in moving guards, suitable for installation on the leading edge of sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards. These switches ensure a forced disconnect of safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal and feature an anti-tamper mechanism that is difficult to defeat. The head of the switch can be rotated to create four actuator entry positions, enhancing installation flexibility. For increased durability, options include flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions. Additionally, the contact blocks are replaceable, with optional explosion-proof versions available for specific applications.
