The Idem 203008HF KM tongue interlock switch-HF Act features a configuration of 3NC 1NO and a 1/2NPT connection, housed in a robust die-cast material. Specifically designed for medium to heavy duty moving guards, these interlock switches provide position interlock detection and are meant for installation on the leading edge of sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards. They ensure a forced disconnect of the safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal and incorporate an anti-tamper mechanism. The switch includes rotatable heads that allow for dual actuator entry positions, offering up to 8 different entry configurations. For enhanced durability, options for flexible actuators and a stainless steel head version are available. The device features replaceable contact blocks, with optional explosion-proof variants, and high holding force options to address applications where vibration may pose a challenge. It complies with positive break contacts to EN60947-5-1 and offers high functional safety to ISO13849-1, with the choice of 3 pole, 4 pole, or explosion-proof contact blocks.
