The Idem 203008F KM Tongue Interlock Switch-Flat Act features 3 Normally Closed and 1 Normally Open contacts, a 1/2 inch NPT thread, and a robust die-cast housing. Designed for medium to heavy duty guards, this switch fits on sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards to provide position interlock detection. It offers a forced disconnect of safety contacts upon actuator withdrawal and includes an anti-tamper mechanism. The rotatable heads have dual actuator entry positions, allowing for up to 8 different entry positions. Options include flexible actuators, stainless steel heads, replaceable contact blocks, and explosion-proof versions. This switch is designed for high durability and can connect to most safety relays for up to PLE CAT.4 functionality. With positive break contacts to EN60947-5-1 and high functional safety to ISO13849-1, it meets industry standards in a compact 118mm x 40mm x 30mm package.
