The Idem 116015 RPR magnetic non-contact switch features a 10m cable and offers 2NC and 1NO configurations. Designed to meet the standards of EN60947-5-3, this switch can be utilized according to ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1 directives. It employs magnetic sensing technology, providing a significant sensing distance greater than 12mm and a high tolerance for misalignment, which is particularly beneficial in situations where guard alignment is poor. This switch operates effectively from four directions, even in challenging temperature and moisture conditions. With a volt-free high power switching capability of either 1A or 2A AC/DC, it can function independently for low-risk applications or be connected to a safety relay for enhanced safety levels. The Idem magnetic non-contact switch is ideal for interlocking hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors, making it advantageous in environments requiring high hygiene standards, such as food processing, or where high switching capacity is necessary. When paired with dual-channel safety relays, it can achieve up to PLe/category 4 compliance according to ISO13849-1. Additional features include magnetic high power switching up to 230VAC at 2A, various housing options (miniature, compact, wide, or barrel types), a dual channel safety output of 2NC (with 1NO auxiliary optional), a choice of plastic or stainless steel 316 materials suitable for food industry applications, and a wide switching distance. The switch offers high temperature stability, with plastic tolerance up to 80°C and stainless steel up to 105°C, along with resistance to various organic and inorganic chemicals. It boasts an enclosure protection rating of IP67 or IP69K, making it resistant to high-temperature hosing and detergent washdowns. The device features volt-free contacts rated for up to 230VAC at 2A and 24VDC at 2A (internally fused), and its M30 threaded body allows for easy mounting.
