The Idem 131007 MMR-H Magnetic Non-Contact Switch is designed for non-contact guard door interlocking applications within the food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petrochemical industries. It features a robust stainless steel 316 construction, suitable for CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-In-Place) cleaning, and can withstand high-pressure hosing at high temperatures with an IP69K rating. The switch offers a wide 12mm sensing capability with a high tolerance for misalignment, and its mirror polished finish achieves a surface roughness of RA4. It is designed to be mounted on steel structures that comply with EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design, ensuring that the housing designs, surface finish, and overall styling make it suitable for environments demanding high levels of cleanliness after potential contamination from foreign particles. Various mounting styles are available to accommodate different levels of food contact as outlined by EHEDG specifications. The direct contact zone of the switch is designed in accordance with EHEDG hygienic guidelines and meets the requirements for the splash zone, allowing for easy cleaning and compatibility with CIP and SIP procedures, while being tested to the IP69K rating. The miniature industry standard design includes 22mm fixing centers with through hole mounting on M4 clearance, allowing for front mounting using hexagon head bolts, and is suitable for areas that may experience food splash or direct food contact.
