The Idem 113008 CPR magnetic non-contact switch is an 8-way device featuring 2NC and 1NO contacts with an M12 connector. This switch is designed to comply with EN60947-5-3 and can be used as directed by ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1. It utilizes magnetic sensing technology that offers a wide sensing distance of over 12mm and demonstrates high tolerance to misalignment, operating effectively from four directions even in extreme temperature and moisture environments. It is capable of volt-free high power switching (either 1A or 2A AC/DC) and is suitable for low-risk applications or connection to safety relays for enhanced safety levels. The switch can interlock hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors, making it particularly useful in situations with poor guard alignment, high hygiene requirements, or environments demanding high switching capacity. When paired with dual channel safety relays, the device can achieve up to PLe/category 4 in accordance with ISO13849-1. It is capable of magnetic high power switching up to 230VAC 2A and features options for miniature, compact, wide, or barrel-type housings. The switch is available in plastic or stainless steel 316 to meet food industry compatibility standards, with a wide switching distance of up to 12mm and high temperature stability (up to 80°C for plastic and 105°C for stainless steel). Additionally, it boasts resistance to various organic and inorganic chemicals, an enclosure protection rating of IP67 or IP69K, and is capable of withstanding high-temperature hosing and detergent washdown. The volt-free contacts support up to 230VAC 2A and 24VDC 2A (internally fused), and its compact slim fitting design makes it suitable for applications with limited space.
