IDEM magnetic non-contact safety switches are engineered to comply with EN60947-5-3 and are applicable under ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1 guidelines. Designed with magnetic sensing, these switches offer a wide sensing distance greater than 12mm, ensuring high tolerance to misalignment. They operate from four directions and are suitable for extreme temperature and moisture conditions. The switches possess volt-free high power switching capabilities at either 1A or 2A for AC/DC applications, allowing them to function independently for low-risk tasks or connect to safety relays for enhanced safety measures. They effectively interlock hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors and are particularly beneficial in scenarios requiring poor guard alignment, stringent hygiene standards in food processing, or high switching capacity. When integrated with dual channel safety relays, they can achieve up to PLe/category 4 as per ISO13849-1. Key features include magnetic high power switching up to 230VAC 2A, options for miniature, compact, wide, or barrel-type housings, and dual channel safety output configuration with 2NC and 1NO auxiliary (optional). The switches are available in plastic or stainless steel 316 materials, suitable for food industry applications, and demonstrate high-temperature stability up to 80°C (plastic) or 105°C (stainless steel).
