The Idem 112007 WPR magnetic non-contact switch has a sensing distance of >12mm and can operate from 4 directions even in extreme environments of temperature and moisture. It has volt free high power switching capability (either 1A or 2A AC/DC) and can be used independently to switch low-risk applications or connect to a safety relay to provide higher safety levels. The safety switches are designed to interlock hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors and are specifically advantageous in environments where poor guard alignment, high hygiene levels, or high switching capacity is a requirement. They provide up to PLe/Category 4 to ISO13849-1 when used with dual channel safety relays. The switches offer high power switching up to 230VAC 2A, a choice of miniature, compact, wide, or barrel type housings, dual channel safety output 2NC (1NO auxiliary optional), choice of plastic or stainless steel 316 housings, wide switching distance up to 12mm, high temperature stability, high tolerance to guard misalignment, resistance to organic and inorganic chemicals, enclosure protection to IP67 or IP69K, resistance to high temperature hosing and detergent washdown, conformance to EN60947-5-3 PDF-S, and volt-free contacts up to 230VAC 2A and 24VDC 2A (internally fused). The switches also offer an industry-standard wide fitting and front face actuation for large guards.
