Idem's HLM and HLM-SS range of safety limit switches is designed for position sensing in moving applications such as guard doors, conveyors, machine beds, and elevators. The kit includes options for linear plungers, rotary levers, roller plungers, spring levers, or telescopic spring levers, with either slow break or snap action contacts. These switches feature heavy-duty die-cast or stainless steel 316 bodies, industry-standard mounting compliant with EN50041, and positive opening NC safety contact according to EN60947-5-1. A large choice of actuator heads is available, and the devices boast a high mechanical life exceeding 5,000,000 cycles. The HLM models are constructed from die-cast material, while the HLM-SS models utilize stainless steel 316.
