The Idem ES-P and ES-SS standard duty emergency stop switches are engineered for robust emergency stop protection across machines and exposed conveyors, making them suitable for virtually all industry sectors. Available in plastic bodies with an IP67 rating or stainless steel 316 with an IP69K rating, these switches conform to ISO 13850, EN 60947-5-1, and EN 60947-5-5 standards. They feature a special lid safety trip mechanism that ensures the safety contacts open if the lid is removed, providing an additional layer of anti-tamper protection. For maintenance situations, button protection shroud versions come equipped with padlock holes for "lock off" capabilities. The switches utilize 3 pole contact blocks that ensure positively operated switch contacts.
