The Stainless Steel 316 HygieMag range is specifically designed for non-contact guard door interlocking in food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petro-chemical industries. This range features robust Stainless Steel 316 construction, ensuring suitability for CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-In-Place) cleaning. It can withstand high-pressure hosing at elevated temperatures, achieving an IP69K rating. The product includes a wide 12mm sensing capability with high tolerance to misalignment, and its mirror-polished finish is rated to RA4. These devices can be mounted on steel structures designed per EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) guidelines for hygienic design. They are available with various mounting styles to accommodate different levels of food contact as defined by EHEDG. The direct contact zone adheres to EHEDG hygienic guidelines and meets splash zone requirements, ensuring the switch is easy to clean and can endure the CIP and SIP cleaning processes prevalent in the food industry. With an industry-standard wide fitting, the product is suitable for food splash zones and features front-facing actuation.
