The Idem 450005HFH KLTM guard locking switch-HFH act features a die-cast construction, 110V power supply, and 1/2NPT connection. These guard locking switches are tongue-operated and designed to fit sliding or hinged machine guards, providing robust position interlock detection and a lock mechanism to keep the guard closed until the hazard is removed. They offer positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. Depending on the risk assessment, they can provide positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or up to PLE category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061 when used with dual-channel safety monitoring relays. Available in various materials and housing styles, they come with contact blocks, LED diagnostics, and different actuators for easy installation and durability in factory automation, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries. The switches also feature integral high-security RFID coding, 2 lock monitoring contacts, auxiliary PNP outputs for switch status, LEDs for solenoid, lock, and RFID, a high holding force of 2000N, 2 emergency manual release points, and an IP67 rating for rugged and solid body. The dimensions are 105mm wide, 150mm long, and 73mm fixing.
