The foot guards are metal shields designed to be worn over shoes, providing maximum protection for the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects, as well as accidental tool blows. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds, featuring a large safety factor. These foot guards fit any shoe, accommodating sizes with 6" extra-large and 6-1/2" extra-large widths. Weighing in light enough for comfortable all-day wear, they come with a rubber toe clip, a crossbar, and a choice between a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap with a spring fastening device. The extra-large foot guards are available exclusively in aluminum alloy, while standard foot guards come equipped with a partial rubber sole (rubber toe clip) and can be upgraded to a steel toe clip (option ST). Compliance with federal regulations ensures that these guards provide protection equivalent to ANSI-Z41 standards.
