The foot guards are metal shields designed to be worn over shoes for maximum protection of the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects as well as accidental tool blows. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds, featuring a significant safety factor. These foot guards fit any shoe and are available in 6" extra-large and 6-1/2" extra-large widths. They are lightweight, making them comfortable for all-day wear. To ensure proper positioning, the guards are equipped with a rubber toe clip, crossbar, and either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap (LS) with a spring fastening device. The extra-large foot guards are only available in aluminum alloy, while the standard foot guard comes with a partial rubber sole, which can be substituted with a steel toe clip (ST) as an option. In compliance with federal regulations, these guards provide protection that meets ANSI-Z41 standards.
