The foot guards are metal shields designed to be worn over shoes for maximum protection of the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects, as well as accidental tool blows. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds and feature a large safety factor. These foot guards fit any shoe size (no rights or lefts) and come in 6" Extra-Large and 6-1/2" Extra-Large widths. Weighing in at a comfortable design, they can be worn throughout the day. To ensure proper positioning, each guard includes a rubber toe clip, crossbar, and is available with either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap (LS) featuring a spring fastening device. The Extra-Large foot guards are constructed from aluminum alloy exclusively, while the standard foot guard comes with a partial rubber sole (rubber toe clip) and can be upgraded to a steel toe clip (ST) if required. In compliance with federal regulations, these guards provide protection that meets ANSI-Z41 standards.
