The kit includes a guard designed for maximum resistance to impact and penetration, built from aircraft quality aluminum alloy. The dimensions of the guard are 12 inches high, 5-1/2 inches wide at the top, and 3 inches wide at the bottom. It features padded top and bottom sections that absorb shock and provide comfort, secured with 5/8-inch web straps. The guard is resistant to moisture, ensuring no deterioration occurs. An aluminum shield is added to each side of the No. 400 guard, which is recommended for use around power tools that eject materials, such as railroad power adzing machines.
