The kit includes a guard designed for maximum resistance to impact and penetration, constructed from aircraft quality aluminum alloy. It measures 12" in height, 5" in width at the top, and 3" in width at the bottom. The guard features padded top and bottom areas to absorb shock and provide comfort, which are attached using 5/8" web straps. It is moisture-resistant and will not deteriorate over time. Additionally, an aluminum shield is added to each side of the No. 400 guard, making it particularly recommended for use around power tools that throw off materials, such as railroad power adzing machines.
