The foot guards are metal shields designed to be worn over shoes, providing comprehensive protection to the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects and accidental tool blows. These guards are smaller, lighter, and comfortable, with an average width of 4-1/2", enabling extended wear throughout the day. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 50 foot pounds and feature a large safety factor for added security. To maintain proper positioning, the design includes a rubber toe clip, a crossbar, and either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap with a spring fastening device.
