The foot guards are metal shields designed to be worn over shoes, providing maximum protection to the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects as well as accidental tool blows. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds, featuring a sturdy safety factor. These foot guards fit any shoe without designated rights or lefts, with available widths of 5" (average) and 5-1/2" (large). Designed for comfort, they are light enough for all-day wear and include a rubber toe clip and crossbar for proper positioning. Users can choose between a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap (LS) with a spring fastening device. The foot guards are offered in aluminum alloy or steel, both providing equivalent protection. Standard models come equipped with a partial rubber sole or rubber toe clip, with the option to substitute a steel toe clip (ST). In compliance with federal regulations, these foot guards meet ANSI-Z41 standards for protection.
