BSC Preferred's™ Series Dry Environment Explosion Proof Duct Fans are designed to handle clean dry air at temperatures up to a maximum of 180°F, making them ideal for applications such as the removal of fumes in paint spray booths, smoke removal from welding operations, or as supply air for air make-up systems. Key features include long-life maintenance-free sealed for life fan bearings, spark-resistant heavy-duty cast aluminum propellers, and an adjustable motor base that allows for proper belt tension to ensure maximum belt life. The pulleys are constructed from rugged cast iron or turned steel, and the motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in either single or three-phase explosion-proof configurations. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, an inspection door, and horizontal support legs.
