BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are engineered for operation in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, specifically designed for effectively removing fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are suitable for applications such as air make-up systems where the motor must be situated within the airstream, as well as in harsh, dry settings when equipped with mill and chemical duty motors and special coatings. The fans are available with optional specifications including a 3 phase 230/460V, and motor options of 1/2 or 3/4 HP. The standard propellers are made of non-sparking cast aluminum, while the fan housing is constructed from all-welded, heavy gauge steel. The motors are high-quality industrial grade, available in single or three-phase configurations, and are totally enclosed. Optional accessories include companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliant inspection doors, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
