BSC Preferred's™ Series Explosion Proof Direct Drive Tube Axial Duct Fans are engineered for operation in dry environments with a maximum temperature of 104°F, specifically designed to efficiently remove fumes, dust, or smoke. These fans are ideal for use in air make-up systems where the motor must be positioned in the airstream, as well as in harsh, dry environments when outfitted with mill and chemical duty motors and special coatings. The standard propellers are constructed from non-sparking cast aluminum, and the fan housing is built from all welded, heavy gauge steel. The motors are high-quality industrial grade and available in either single or three-phase explosion-proof options. Additionally, a range of optional accessories is available, including companion flanges, horizontal support legs, horizontal or vertical support brackets, inlet or outlet guards, an OSHA-compliant inspection door, and epoxy or urethane coatings.
