BSC Preferred's™ series wet environment explosion proof duct fans are engineered for high moisture or contaminated airstreams, making them ideal for industrial parts washers to effectively remove excess water vapor. These fans are also suitable for dry-off ovens, kilns, and low-temperature furnaces up to 375°F with an added high-temperature package. The kit includes features such as bearings located in a sealed watertight chamber, protected by a water slinger and shaft seal, with standard propellers made of cast aluminum, and options for carbon steel or stainless steel propellers. Standard construction supports temperatures up to 225°F, with the ability to withstand 375°F using the high-temperature package, and a fabricated steel propeller is standard for temperatures above 275°F. The fans can be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel for durability in harsh environments, with an adjustable motor base for optimal belt tension to enhance belt life. The pulleys are made of rugged cast iron or turned steel, and the motors feature high-quality industrial-grade options available in single or three-phase explosion-proof setups. Optional accessories include a belt guard, horizontal or vertical support brackets, a combination motor cover/belt guard, inlet or outlet guards, OSHA compliance, companion flanges, an inspection door, horizontal support legs, epoxy or urethane coatings, an adjustable pitch motor pulley, and continuously welded flanges.
