Our galvanized stock tanks are fabricated at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to the exclusive production of high-quality water tanks. These tanks are constructed from flat, rolled steel coated with heavy-duty zinc G90, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions. The fabrication process involves precise cutting and shaping using computer-driven forming mills, followed by a meticulous joining process that includes spot welding and a seaming station that makes three circumferences around each tank bottom before applying a sealer. Each tank undergoes rigorous testing, filled with water to ensure there are no leaks before leaving the plant. Included with each tank is a 1" drain plug, located 1 inch from the bottom for easy release of contents. The design features a 20-gauge galvanized bottom and 21-gauge sides, with deep sidewall corrugation for added strength. Additionally, the top rim is 1-1/8" permanently rolled for strong reinforcement, while an internal 1" tube adds further support. The tanks come in nominal sizes, which may be slightly less than stated, and hold approximately 210 gallons (Size A: 94-1/2"L x 22-1/2"W x 24"H), 227 gallons (Size B: 96"L x 24"W x 24"H), and 244 gallons (Size C: 97-1/2"L x 25-1/2"W x 24"H). Note that for lower freight costs, three tanks of the same size can be nested, which may result in the inner tanks being undersized.
