The Gleason Reel® tool balancer features a rugged steel housing with a black polyester baked finish. Its reinforced hanging bracket with a forged clevis allows for ceiling mounting and includes holes for safety chain suspension (chain not included). The spring is permanently lubricated and provides constant tension, with the ability to be adjusted for balancing tools in a normal working zone. The cable is tested to 920 lbs and measures 0.09" in diameter, utilizing 7" x 7" strand galvanized steel aircraft cable that is nylon covered to 0.12" for added safety. A safety tool clip and adjustable cable stop are included, and the ratchet lock mechanism allows the cable to be locked at a specific height. A slight pull of the cable releases the lock for retraction. This tool balancer has an 8' length and a weight capacity of 7 lbs.
