The Gleason Reel® tool balancer features a rugged steel housing with a black polyester baked finish. It includes a reinforced hanging bracket with forged clevis for ceiling mounting, along with holes for safety chain suspension (chain not included). The permanently lubricated spring provides constant tension and is adjustable for balancing tools within the normal working zone. The cable, tested to 920 lbs, has a diameter of 0.09" and utilizes 7" x 7" strand galvanized steel aircraft cable that is nylon covered to 0.12" for added safety. The unit includes a safety tool clip and an adjustable cable stop. The ratchet lock mechanism allows the cable to be locked at a specific height, and a slight pull of the cable releases the lock for retraction. This tool balancer is 8' long and has a weight capacity of 23 lbs.
