The Gleason Reel® tool balancer features a rugged steel housing with a black polyester baked finish, designed for durability and performance. It includes a reinforced hanging bracket with a forged clevis for secure ceiling mounting and provides holes for safety chain suspension (chain not included). The permanently lubricated spring offers constant tension and is adjustable to balance tools within the normal working zone. The cable is tested to 920 lbs and has a diameter of 0.09", utilizing a 7" x 7" strand of galvanized steel aircraft cable that is nylon covered to 0.12" for enhanced safety. Additionally, the tool balancer comes with a safety tool clip and an adjustable cable stop. The ratchet lock mechanism allows the cable to be secured at a specific height, and a slight pull of the cable releases the lock for retraction. This tool balancer spans 8' in length and supports a weight capacity of 10 lbs.
