These high-quality vacuum desiccators are designed for reliable dry storage or experiments over extended periods while maintaining a gastight seal. They are capable of sustaining a vacuum of 29 in.-Hg for over 72 hours at room temperature, ensuring vacuum integrity that reduces maintenance needs. These units are equipped with a Viton® 3-way valve, enabling consistent vacuum draw, vacuum release, or gas exchange, and feature a built-in analog vacuum gauge for simplified vacuum level checking. The desiccators incorporate a high-quality silicone O-ring and a specially designed locking ring that provide outstanding vacuum capability with virtually no leakage. Amber tinted UV blocking models effectively block 100% of UVA, B, and C light to protect sensitive samples from damage or discoloration. Made from transparent polycarbonate, these desiccators are durable, easy to clean, chemical-resistant, and allow for quick visualization of contents. A locking ring secures the top and bottom halves when the vacuum is not in use, enhancing safety and convenience during transportation. The kit includes a desiccant tray, with desiccants sold separately, and is compatible with any vacuum that has a free air capacity of 1.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) or greater.
