The Porta-King in-plant office, constructed from white vinyl drywall for both interior and exterior surfaces, measures 12' x 16' and features a 2-wall configuration. Designed for Class A fire rating and STC31 sound attenuation, this system creates a highly functional workspace within any facility. The pre-engineered components allow for easy installation, significantly reducing downtime. Each order includes detailed installation instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list. The complete package consists of all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a 3070 right-hand swing door made of 20-gauge steel with a large vision lite, along with all required hardware for construction based on specified dimensions and floor plans. The wall panels stand 8' high, are 3" thick, and are interchangeable with panels of like size. The door is factory-installed within a frame that securely locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, complemented by mechanical fasteners for additional reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, equipped with 8' high snap-in cover plates for concealing wiring while providing easy access during and after setup. Additionally, the standard electrical kit includes 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, light switches, and 115-volt electrical outlets, which come with a handy box for secure fastening to the connecting post and a cover plate for a polished appearance. All electrical devices carry the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated panels feature a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall surface laminated to a solid UL Class 1 EPS insulating core, providing excellent sound attenuation suitable for noisy environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
