The Porta-King in-plant office features a white vinyl interior and white painted steel on the drywall exterior, measuring 12' x 24' with a 3-wall design that meets Class A fire and STC27 sound ratings, making it a highly functional space for any facility. The kit includes pre-engineered components that facilitate easy installation to minimize downtime, with detailed instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list included in every order. Each order comprises all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware required to construct the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similar size panels. The door is a 3070, 2-gauge steel, right-hand swing door with a large vision lite, both painted to match the interior and exterior panel surfaces, and is factory-installed into a frame that securely locks into adjoining posts to prevent door sag. Mechanical fasteners are supplied for installation above and below the top hinge plate to reinforce this connection, while the wall connecting posts function as a vertical wiring chase. Eight-foot high snap-in cover plates are included for each connecting post to conceal wiring and allow quick access to the wiring chase during and after setup. Additionally, a standard electrical kit is provided, which consists of 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures in specified quantities, light switches, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all of which include a handy box easily fastened to the back of the connecting post along with a cover plate for a neat appearance. All electrical devices bear the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated steel panels feature a heavy-duty 24-gauge siliconized polyester painted steel exterior surface and a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall interior surface, both laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, creating a durable, impact-resistant surface suitable for harsh environments.
