The Porta-King Inplant Office features a gray vinyl interior and gray painted steel on the drywall exterior, with dimensions of 8' x 8' and a 2-wall configuration. It is designed with Class A fire rating and STC31 sound attenuation to create a highly functional space within various facilities. The solution consists of pre-engineered, easy-to-install components that significantly reduce downtime and includes detailed instructions along with a suggested floor plan layout and an illustrated packing list. Each order encompasses all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and the required hardware to construct the designated sizes and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with panels of like size. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing variety, equipped with a large vision lite and finished to match the interior and exterior wall panel surfaces, factory installed into a frame that securely locks into the adjoining post to prevent door sag. Mechanical fasteners are provided for above and below the top hinge plate, reinforcing this connection, while the wall connecting posts also function as vertical wiring chases. The kit includes 8' high snap-in cover plates for each connecting post, which conceal the wiring and allow for quick access during and after setup. Additionally, a standard electrical kit is provided, containing 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all featuring a handy box that can be easily fastened to the back of the connecting post, accompanied by a cover plate for a neat appearance. All electrical devices carry the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated panels comprise a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall interior and exterior surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, delivering excellent sound attenuation suitable for noisier manufacturing environments. The panels are available in gray and white color options.
