The Porta-King in-plant office features a white vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 12' x 20', designed as a 4-wall structure with Class C fire and STC27 sound ratings, which provides a highly functional space within any facility. The system comprises pre-engineered components that ensure easy installation, significantly reducing downtime. Each order comes complete with comprehensive instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list. Included are all essential wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and hardware necessary for constructing the specified size and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similarly sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite, painted to match the interior and exterior wall panel surfaces and factory installed in a frame that effectively locks into the adjoining posts to prevent door sag. Mechanical fasteners are provided for installation above and below the top hinge plate to reinforce this connection. The wall connecting posts also serve as a vertical wiring chase, and each connecting post includes 8' high snap-in cover plates that conceal wiring while allowing for quick access during and after setup. Furthermore, each order includes a standard electrical kit that consists of 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities as specified), a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets (quantities as specified), all of which come with a handy box that can be easily fastened to the back of the connecting post, along with a cover plate for a neat appearance. All electrical devices bear the U.L. label. The Class C fire-rated panels feature a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard interior and exterior surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, creating a lightweight yet durable and impact-resistant surface suitable for plant environments.
