The Porta-King in-plant office is constructed with gray vinyl hardboard for both interior and exterior surfaces, measuring 12' x 12' and featuring a 2-wall design that meets Class C fire ratings and STC27 sound ratings. This highly functional space can be easily set up within any facility using pre-engineered components, which include detailed instructions, suggested floor plan layouts, and an illustrated packing list. Each order comes with all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and hardware for the specified sizes and layouts. The wall panels stand at 8’ high, are 3” thick, and are interchangeable with similarly sized panels. The included door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel, right-hand swing door with a large vision lite, finished to match the wall panel surfaces and factory-installed into a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging. Mechanical fasteners are provided for installation above and below the top hinge plate to reinforce this connection. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, complete with 8' high snap-in cover plates for easy access and concealment of wiring. Additionally, each order includes a standard electrical kit with 2'x4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, along with a handy box for easy installation and a cover plate for a clean appearance. All electrical devices are U.L. labeled. The Class C fire-rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid UL Class 1 EPS insulating core, providing a lightweight yet durable and impact-resistant surface, ideal for plant environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
