The Porta-King in-plant office features a white vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 20' x 20', and consists of a three-wall configuration designed for Class C fire rating and STC27 sound attenuation, providing a highly functional space within any facility. The pre-engineered components are straightforward to install, minimizing downtime and including detailed instructions, suggested floor plan layouts, and an illustrated packing list with each order. Each package contains all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware required for assembly according to the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similar-sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel model with a right-hand swing and a large vision lite, finished to match both the interior and exterior wall panel surfaces. It is factory-installed into a frame that locks securely into the adjoining posts to prevent door sag, with mechanical fasteners supplied for reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also serve as vertical wiring chases, featuring 8' high snap-in cover plates to conceal wiring while allowing quick access during and after installation. Additionally, the standard electrical kit includes 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities specified), a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets (quantities specified), complete with handy boxes that attach easily to the back of the connecting posts and cover plates for a neat finish. All electrical devices are U.L. labeled. The Class C fire rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid UL Class 1 EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable, impact-resistant surface suitable for plant environments. The panels are available in gray and white color options.
