The Porta-King in-plant office features a white vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 12' x 12' with a two-wall design, Class C fire rating, and STC27 sound attenuation. This modular system is designed to create highly functional spaces within various facilities. The package includes all necessary components for installation, including detailed instructions, suggested floor plan layouts, wall panels that are 8' high and 3" thick, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and hardware. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel, right-hand swing door with a large vision lite, factory installed into a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sag. Mechanical fasteners are provided for installation above and below the top hinge plate to reinforce the connection. The connecting posts also function as wiring chases, with 8' high snap-in cover plates included to conceal wiring while allowing for easy access. Additionally, the standard electrical kit consists of 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all of which bear the U.L. label and include handy boxes for a clean appearance. The Class C fire-rated panels include a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, providing a lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant surface suitable for plant environments.
