The Porta-King in-plant office features a gray vinyl interior and gray painted steel on a drywall exterior, measuring 8' x 10' with a two-wall configuration, offering Class A fire rating and STC31 sound attenuation for a highly functional workspace within any facility. This system utilizes pre-engineered components for easy installation, minimizing downtime, and every order includes detailed instructions with a suggested floor plan layout and an illustrated packing list. All necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware for construction are provided. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with like-sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel, right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite, painted to match the wall panel surfaces, and is factory installed into a frame that locks securely into adjoining posts to prevent door sag. Mechanical fasteners are included for reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, with 8' high snap-in cover plates provided for each post to conceal wiring while allowing for quick access. Additionally, a standard electrical kit is included, consisting of 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities as specified), a light switch, and 115 volt electrical outlets (quantities as specified), accompanied by a handy box for easy fastening and a cover plate for a neat appearance. All electrical devices are U.L. labeled. The Class A fire rated panels consist of a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall interior and exterior laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, providing excellent sound attenuation suited for noisier environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
