The Porta-King in-plant office features a white vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 16' x 16' with a 3-wall configuration that meets Class C fire rating and STC27 sound transmission class. This modular office system is designed for high functionality and can be installed quickly using pre-engineered components, minimizing downtime. Each order comes with detailed instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list, including all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware required for the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similar sized panels. The included door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel, right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite, painted to match the interior and exterior wall panel surfaces, and is factory installed into a frame that locks into the adjoining post to prevent door sag. Mechanical fasteners are provided for installation above and below the top hinge plate for reinforcement. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases and include 8' high snap-in cover plates for concealing wiring while allowing easy access during and after set-up. Each order also contains a standard electrical kit, which includes 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all bearing the U.L. label. The panels have a laminated design consisting of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface over a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, creating a lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant surface suitable for plant environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
