The Porta-King Inplant Office is designed with white vinyl drywall interior and exterior surfaces, measuring 16' x 20', and consists of a 2-wall configuration that meets Class A fire ratings and STC31 sound attenuation standards, creating a highly functional workspace within any facility. The kit includes pre-engineered components that simplify installation, ensuring minimal downtime, as well as detailed instructions with a suggested floor plan layout and an illustrated packing list. Each order comprises all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door with a large vision lite that matches the wall panel surfaces, and the required hardware for assembly. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similarly sized panels. The factory-installed door frame locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, and mechanical fasteners are provided to reinforce the connection above and below the top hinge plate. Wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, and snap-in cover plates conceal wiring while allowing for easy access during and after assembly. Additionally, a standard electrical kit is included, featuring 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, light switches, and 115-volt electrical outlets with a handy box for neat installation. All electrical components carry the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated panels consist of a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall on both surfaces, laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, which provides excellent sound attenuation for noisy environments and is available in gray and white color options.
