The Porta-King inplant office is a 12' x 20', 3-wall structure made with white vinyl drywall for both interior and exterior applications, designed to create highly functional space within a facility. The pre-engineered components, which include detailed installation instructions and a suggested floor plan layout, facilitate easy installation and minimize downtime. Each order comes complete with all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and hardware for the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels measure 8' in height, have a thickness of 3", and are interchangeable with similar-sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel, right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite that is painted to match both the interior and exterior wall panel surfaces. It is factory-installed into a frame designed to positively lock into adjoining posts, reducing the risk of door sag, and includes mechanical fasteners for additional reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, each equipped with 8' high snap-in cover plates to conceal wiring while maintaining easy access for setup and maintenance. Additionally, the kit includes a standard electrical package containing 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all bearing the U.L. label, with a handy box for easy fastening to the connecting post and a cover plate for a neat appearance. The Class A fire-rated panels comprise a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, providing exceptional sound attenuation, making this structure particularly suitable for noisier environments. The panels are available in gray and white color options.
