The Porta-King inplant office is a highly functional modular space solution, featuring a gray vinyl drywall interior and exterior, measuring 12' x 24' with a 2-wall construction. The system is designed for easy installation with pre-engineered components that minimize downtime. Each order comes with detailed instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list, along with all necessary components including wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and hardware for assembly. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with panels of the same size. The included door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite that is painted to match both the interior and exterior wall surfaces. It is factory installed into a frame that securely locks into the adjoining post to prevent door sag, reinforced with mechanical fasteners above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also function as vertical wiring chases, with included 8' high snap-in cover plates for concealing wiring while allowing easy access. Additionally, each order includes a standard electrical kit featuring 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, all housed in a handy box that attaches to the connecting post for a finished appearance, with all devices carrying the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated panels consist of a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, providing excellent sound attenuation for noisy plant environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
