The Porta-King in-plant office is constructed from white vinyl hardboard for both interior and exterior surfaces, measuring 12' x 16' with a 4-wall configuration, and meets Class C fire rating and STC27 sound ratings, making it a highly functional space for various facility environments. The kit includes pre-engineered components that facilitate easy installation, minimizing downtime, along with detailed instructions featuring suggested floor plan layouts and an illustrated packing list. Each order comprises all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware needed to construct the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels stand 8' high, are 3" thick, and are interchangeable with similar-sized panels. The door is a right-hand swing, 3070 model made of 20-gauge steel with a large vision lite, matched to the interior and exterior wall finishes, and is factory-installed into a frame that locks into the adjoining posts to prevent sagging. Mechanical fasteners reinforce the connection above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also act as a vertical wiring chase, with 8' high snap-in cover plates provided for each post to conceal wiring while allowing easy access during and after setup. Additionally, the standard electrical kit includes 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities as specified), a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets (quantities as specified), along with a handy box for easy fastening to the connecting post and a cover plate to ensure a neat appearance; all devices are U.L. labeled. The Class C fire-rated panels feature a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid (UL class 1) EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable and impact-resistant surface suitable for industrial environments, available in gray and white color options.
