The Porta-King in-plant office features a robust design with white vinyl drywall, measuring 8' x 10' and configured as a 2-wall structure. It is classified as Class A for fire safety and has a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 31, making it suitable for creating functional spaces within any facility. The kit includes pre-engineered components that facilitate easy installation, minimizing downtime. All orders come with detailed instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list. The package consists of all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a 3070 right-hand swing door made of 20-gauge steel with a large vision lite, and corresponding hardware. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similar size panels. The door is factory-installed in a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, with mechanical fasteners provided for additional support. The connecting posts serve dual purposes, functioning as vertical wiring chases, and each includes 8' high snap-in cover plates for wiring concealment while allowing easy access. Additionally, the kit includes a standard electrical setup comprising 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, 115-volt electrical outlets with handy boxes for neat installation, all of which carry the U.L. label. The Class A fire-rated panels are constructed with a 1/2" vinyl finished drywall laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, offering exceptional sound attenuation, making it ideal for noisy plant environments.
