The pocket air filter is constructed of an ultra-fiberglass fiber media bonded to a thin non-woven synthetic backing and sewn with multiple rows of expanded stitching. Available in MERV 11, 12, 13, and 15 open throat designs, it offers optimum air flow, low initial pressure drop, and superior dust holding capacity. The filter includes a galvanized steel header and J-channels for enhanced filter strength. It is suitable for medium to high efficiency filtration in a variety of commercial and industrial applications, as well as specialty uses such as oil mist collection, fume collection, and the capture of heavy concentrated airborne contaminants. The filter can be used as a primary or secondary filter in HVAC systems, hospitals, automotive environments, and biotechnology settings.
