The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter made with high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity and, combined with its rigid galvanized steel frame construction, virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems and serves as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter or in high humidity environments including commercial and industrial buildings as well as hospitals. The filter is available with MERV ratings of 10, 11, 13, and 15, offered in box-style and single header options, and comes in depths of 6" or 12". This robust filter can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and withstands unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
