The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter designed for commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hospitals. It features high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings and comes in a box-style and single header design with galvanized steel frames available in 6" or 12" depths. It can be used as a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is robust enough to withstand unfavorable conditions, especially in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
