The synthetic rigid cell is an extended surface, medium to high efficiency filter featuring high lofted ultrafine synthetic media that provides excellent dust holding capacity, and its rigid construction virtually eliminates dust particle unloading downstream of the filter. It is suitable for most commercial and industrial HVAC systems as a replacement for pocket filters when conditions require a rigid filter, especially in high humidity environments, commercial and industrial buildings, and hospitals. The filter is available in MERV 10, 11, 13, and 15 ratings, offered in box-style and single header configurations with 6" or 12" depths and a galvanized steel frame. It can be used as either a pre-filter or final filter depending on the application and is designed to withstand unfavorable conditions, particularly in variable air volume (VAV) systems.
